Scientists or any legume worker engaged and interested in teaching/research/extension in any discipline related to food legumes including some other underutilized legumes shall be admitted as members after they pay the prescribed fee. They shall be entitled to receive the Journal of the Society free of charge in the calendar year during which membership has been paid and will have the right to vote for an office bearer of the Society if election is held in that calendar year. Members seeking admission to the Society are required to apply in the prescribed form. If any annual member does not renew his membership, he automatically loses membership and other privileges of the society. However, such members can revive membership by paying membership fee along with admission charges.
